Test day
Use of the car for your practical test is $95, including the hour before it to warm up.

For people who passed years ago and stopped. No block needed, no judgement, book one and see.
Intensive courses
Thirty hours over two weeks. We will only recommend it if we think it suits you, because it does not suit everyone.
How it works
Pick a slot above
Tell us which one and whether you want manual or automatic. We confirm by text, usually within the hour.
Your first lesson
Two hours, starting somewhere quiet. We will not put you on a main road in the first half hour.
A plan you can see
After lesson three you get a written list of what is left to cover, so you always know roughly how far off the test you are.
Test when you are ready
Not before. We will say honestly if we think a test is too early, and we would rather tell you that than take the booking.

How many lessons will I need?
Honestly, it depends, and anybody who gives you a number before meeting you is guessing. Most people who have never driven need somewhere between thirty and fifty hours. After three lessons we will give you a realistic estimate for you specifically.
What is your pass rate?
We do not advertise one. Pass rates are easy to make flattering by choosing who you put in for a test and when, so the number tells you very little. Ask us anything about how we teach instead — that is the part that affects you.
Can I use my own car?
Yes, provided it is insured for lessons and roadworthy. Lessons in your own car are $4 an hour cheaper.
What if I need to cancel?
More than 48 hours, no charge. Less than that, the lesson is charged, because the slot cannot be filled. If you are ill, tell us and we will not charge you.
I am very nervous. Is that a problem?
No, and it is more common than you think. Say so when you book and the first lesson will be slower, quieter and somewhere empty.
