Free, about forty minutes, and we go up. You get photographs of whatever we find, including the parts you cannot see.

Itemised and valid for sixty days. The price does not move once it is agreed unless you ask for something different.
A date, and a tidy site
We tell you the week, the scaffolding dates and the noisy days. Everything is cleared when we go, and we sweep for nails.

How can you price it without seeing it?
We cannot price it exactly, and we do not pretend to. We give a range based on photographs and the age of the roof, and the fixed quote comes after we have been up. The range is there so you are not wasting your time or ours.
Is the quote really fixed?
Yes, for sixty days. The only thing that changes it is finding rotten timber under the tiles, which nobody can see from the ground. If that happens we stop, photograph it and re-quote that part before continuing.
Do I need scaffolding, and is it included?
Anything beyond a single tile usually needs it, for our safety and your insurance. It is included in every price we give. Treat a quote that leaves it out as incomplete.
Will you tell me if I do not need a new roof?
Yes, and we would rather. A repair we do this year is worth more to us than a replacement you resent paying for.
What about insurance work?
We quote in the format loss adjusters expect and send photographs with it. We cannot talk to your insurer on your behalf, but we can make the claim simpler to file.
